I was hoping to get a video blog up for today. Didn’t happen. I don’t look so hot right now. ^_^ So today’s page- we see this Berobos fellows. Not too friendly sorts it appears…and out for vengeance too. Kython? “Who was that guy again? I forgot”…oh…that guy. So, let’s see. The Berobos guys are mad at the Azloeans because of Kython who is Ambrosia’s dad, and Ambrosia is Claude’s dad so… WOW. Hmm.
And now Today’sNews:
First off, I want to remind everyone that Xyliatales is a proud member of Tall Tale Features. To say that I’m humbled to be part of such a successful group of cartoonists is an understatement. Recently Imy http://www.imycomic.com/) was added to the TTF roster, created by my newest friend from Sweden, Irma. It’s very funny and well drawn! Check it out! (And when your there, drop Irma a line while you’re at it.  She’s been under the weather and I think the well wishes would perk her right up!)

Also over at Tall Tale Features: Tall Tales Radio , featuring the golden-tongued Tom Racine (pictured here…mwha ha ha!)
FWIW, Tom is available for voice over work to any of you who have projects of that nature.  He truly has a great on air voice.  Tall Tales Radio has a couple new episodes: one with Tom Read, creator of comic mag “Stay Tooned”- about the comics industry,  and a very in-depth interview with Brock Heasley of one of MY FAVE WEBCOMICS- The Superfogeys . The session ends with a knock-down-drag -out- hard- core- brawl Star Wars trivia contest pitting aforementioned Brock against Lucas Turnbloom of Imagine This. This contest is not for the faint of heart, young padawan. See if you can keep up with these two! I know I couldn’t!
Three cheers to Josh (Canterrain) our Marketing Director- back in the saddle and kicking a**. In one week, he’s managed to get Xylia better numbers than she’s had in months! YAY! Thank you Josh!
Our contest deadline is coming up soon! One more week to get involved. We will be having a ‘drawing for a drawing’ where everyone who has given a donation of any size, will get chances to commission me (Barb) to do an original illustration!
That said, y’all will be happy to know that we are changing up the whole ‘donation land’ thing. We are going to be going to an online store format, where you are purchasing items. The donation issue has long been a source of grief for me and I want to put that behind me.
I also want to announce news that we will be having a fan art/fan fiction contest for February! Winners chosen by popular vote in two categories: visual art and written (prose or poetry). The winners will receive a signed calendar (that features twelve wonderful reproductions of Xylia illustrations, including one that isn’t available anywhere else!) a full month’s ad on the Xylia site for your website or blogsite! (Xyliatales gets about 25K visits a week, so that can help get some traffic to new artists and writers!)
I’m also hoping to resume a more frequent update schedule. Maybe two weeks a month we will have Monday/Thursday updates. Please stay tuned! You’ll want to stay tuned anyway, as the story gets further along I think! Hope so anyway.

Finally, a big congratulations goes out to my big bro!! He was the winner of a Wells Fargo national corporate award for his work helping employees without disabilities understand what they can do to help those who do have disabilities, and that these challenges aren’t always obvious. My brother has a degenerative hearing loss and is now 95% deaf. People often thought he was aloof when he just wasn’t hearing them. He has done talks all across the country teaching Wells Fargo about this sometimes forgotten part of ‘diversity’ and helping to make it a better place for everyone to work. GREAT JOB, DANN!

Wow! If Psulli is right–and I know she isn’t always–Claudius better hurry and get Xylia unlithified and out of Epsilon. Wouldn’t the bannerets touch base with Ambrosia? He is Kython’s son, after all.
Psulli must be right some of the time, though. Otherwise, I don’t see why the others would even put up with her.
Transcenders sound cool. I’d like to have one of those.

I’m sensing a theme here. Azloe, Berobos, C is for ???, Digonia and Epsilon or Earth. So these guys are coming to avenge Kython. But it’s been about a thousand years! Why have they waited this long?

Ambrosia: Is Berobos your homeworld, or at least your father’s? Also, are the worlds completely aligned, only P-aligned, only T-aligned, or completely disaligned? In either case of the first two, how large is the distance between them? Do transcenders travel by connecting the worlds like a portal, or by simply crossing the void between them? (The latter requires at least four-dimensionality.) In case of the former, do they bend only the start world, only the target world, or both? Or are the mechanics of worlds completely different than the standard multiversal hypotheses and my questions therefore meaningless?
See, this is the kind of question I ask. And I assume that if anybody knows, it’s Ambrosia.
