THURSDAY UPDATE?!! Yay! I hope folks find their way here and didn’t forget.

Our update is a little – perhaps unexpected- foray into the past…But- I have a bit of apologizing to do to any ancient history buffs. (like Charlie…)I tell ya, I searched everywhere high and low for months and months to find good translations of Norman ‘Frankish’ language. For the most part, it seems that that language varied from modern French primarily in conjugation of verbs and phrasing. There is still a living language that is quite close to the Norman dialect- called Guernesiais, or Guernsey French-BUT it was just as hard to find phrases or words in Guernesiais as the ancient language. So I just defaulted to moderno French here, OKAY? ^_^ That said, even my modern French may not be accurate. None of my readers (that I knew of) speak French, so I tried using an auto translation tool, but my son’s girlfriend is studying French, and gave me these translations, which were different. In the end, it REALLY doesn’t matter except that I am trying to be accurate. So that’s the story. If you happen to speak Guernesiais or French, this diaglogue is wrong and makes ya mad,please just look at the pictures. ^_^

FWIW, ‘wazzock’ is my new favorite word. I just hope it isn’t too naughty, you never know on this side of the pond- I mean we can say the word s**g over here but my Brit friends shouldn’t. So, I never know. I should ask Paul Norman. PAULIE?!!
