About shirt colors, you should look here: http://www.threadless.com
the white is very popular, but looks kinda cheap. I like the earth tones- olive-green, dark khaki etc. Colors look better on them and shirts like that looks good with almost any skin tone and figure. Just please no light khaki, it was the color of my army uniforms... brrrr....

I'd wear pretty much any color t-shirt...whichever looks best with the art. =) I think black, brown, or blue shirts would probably suit most of the art.

Thank you everyone for your tee shirt ideas! Very helpful- a lot of them are things I was already considering. I did wonder what shirt colors you all would actually wear, however not just what looks good for the art.

Thank you for the nice comments on the page. This story is still giving me fits, and your support goes a long way to keep me from giving up! ~B

Another idea for down the road when you have introduced them all would be a Villians T on either a Red or Black Tee with a group shot of them with a caption of "Evil is fun" or something along those lines...

When you get a comic one page at a time, you have to expect some time to get the story moving. On the other hand, when you get quality of story like this (not to mention the artistic beauty) getting anything to tide one over is a nice treat.

As for t-shirts, I don't know that anyone else will like this idea, but the idea of cream or natural linen colored shirts with sepia drawings would pull so much of Claudius' sketchbook onto a tee that I'd be sorely tempted to buy it, not to mention the classic look to it.

A few more ideas....

The words "Find me, Claudius...." in classical font on black with no picture

This is just in support, but the attitude/package design sounds awesome.

A group shot of all of Claudius's incarnations in various states of beatupness.

I know we're only supposed to be saying t-shirts and hoodies, but if you can find someone to design an ACTUAL mini-Xylia statue based off what Nigel finds, than I would SO think about buying that and then not doing it but really regret it later and still not do it since I'm weird like that.
