Natalie: Your so worried about that Bush is "above the Constitution" and now we have a freakin' MORON for a president! His oath reads: "“I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will subvert and defeat the Constitution of the United States for all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true lack of faith and alliances to the enemies of the U.S.;…”

I wonder if the members of the government ever have to take the oath required of everyone who joins the military, "I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;...". They are so busy being self serving that they themselves are almost enemies. Bush declares he is above the Constitution. Congress does not impeach. The courts support him. I remember as little as 12 years ago, we laughed at the fact that other countries had to carry certified papers of right to be a place at a particular time. The other night I was told, I could be arrested if I could not prove my status. I showed my retired military id. I think Ben Ladin won. The America of 2000 no longer exists.

And then the bickering on junk when they could make the United States energy independent in as less than 5 years. Why do that. They get paid to support energy producing companies. So bicker. Make it look like they are considering things when all it amounts to is a way to delay everything.
