Hello! Wow, we had a great week last week! Thank you for visiting Xylia! And thank you for bookmarking the site, too. We went from 300 some referrals to over 700 this week! WOWSA! Another 'poor Charlie' update this week. The story keeps moving at a snail's pace, but hopefully the images make up for the pacing. This slowness is necessary - it really is, but have a look around. There are a few things to see here and there in Charlie's flat that are sort of 'hmmm type' things, but it's hard to see in low res. Once I get up on WOWIO it will be easier to see! Onto other stuff...I realize I'm a week late, but I want to announce the launch of the Tomgeeks site! Crystal Yates (ever heard of EARTHSONG?!!!) got a group of women webcomic artists together to start up a general site for anyone who has a geekish interest in webcomics and other things, but also to help promote women in comics and webcomics. If you are a woman webcomics creator please join! We feature members of the month, and it's great exposure. We will also be doing webcomic reviews, movie reviews, etc. Check it out! As of this writing, the Xyliaforum is down again. Grr. We are also having Shoutbox issues that we will try to address. We are losing comments. My apologies. I love comments, and losing them makes me cry. Here is a wonderful fan art that I received over a month ago from Ami. I love this! Mara also sent a chibi along that I will post soon (it's on the forum and I can't get to it now!! Finally, the BIG BEG will be coming soon, but December is typically a very hectic month for me and for Kez, just like everyone else, so I'm just doing as much as I can on Xylia, which isn't much right now. I'm afraid that I may even miss one update this month just because of my holiday and freelance commitments. But as Net says, "Life comes first" and that's how it goes sometimes. Anyway, I don't want to launch this promise of extra updates until I can keep that promise! So it will be next month, most likely that we kick off the incentive program. Thank you for reading! ~B
