Hi Xyliacs!
Lot's of comparisons to Narnia going on here I'm sure, and that's just fine with me! Actually a big inspiration for this scene was the winter I just got through. All season, I kept seeing stunning Iowa winter scenes before me, (we got over four feet of snow this year) and I couldn't wait to incorporate them into Xylia. Now that we're finally to this scene, Spring has come to me. :-) That's always the way. But now we follow Charlie and Liv into the land of Digonia...whatever that might be. Don't know about you, but I'd sure like to have a painting like that...
Today is the last day to donate and receive Chapter 1 of Nigel's Opus. Any donatations received after today will go towards the next chapter. I hope to have that completed in two to three days.
Canterrain has reviewed 'Broken (Things)', a moody, haunting tale of a troubled Southern teenager. This is a unique and addictive webcomic by a phenomenally talented and nice guy, Chip Skelton. Enjoy the review! Enjoy the comic!
If you haven't joined the Xyliacs club, I suggest you take yourselves here! Every week I post the thumbnail sketch of the new page, as well as odds and ends line art and concept pics...and there's always interesting discussions going on, like chicken references and Charlie's happy trail. Never mind...
Thanks for reading and believing!
